About this Course

Most bicycles use chains, and keeping your chain in good condition is important, and very easy when you know how! Join Newmarket Cycles in the multipurpose room of Newmarket Public Library for this hands-on workshop to learn how to maintain your chain, how to tell if it needs to be replaced, how to identify an appropriate replacement for your bicycle, and how to install it. After the workshop, you will be familiar with the procedures and tools necessary to keep your chain running smoothly. Equipment: Participants may bring their own bicycle and/or tools, but they are not required to. Please wear a shop apron or clothing that you don’t mind getting dirty.
