Celebrate Canadian Children’s Book Week at the Newmarket Library with storyteller Sarah Abusarar. Based on her experiences hosting EarlyON Parent-Child Mother Goose programs, Sarah uses traditional storytelling to encourage parent-child bonding while incorporating music and rhythms to connect participants to one another. Join us for this half-hour multicultural program, where children will listen to stories and sing songs about friendship and kindness from various cultures. Rhymes and songs will be done in different languages to help children understand the different sounds and rhythms in the world around them. For children ages 3 to 5 years and their caregivers. Space is limited, register for one of the two free sessions. If you have any questions, please contact Library Programmers at programs@newmarketpl.ca or phone 905-953-5110.
