About this Course

Join us at the Elman Campbell Museum for our first ever monthly historical book club in partnership with the Newmarket Public Library. On the first week of the month, participants can pick-up their books at the Elman Campbell Museum and dive into the carefully curated historical fictions. On the last Saturday of every month will be our workshop event, a cozy afternoon of book talks, historical crafts and community building. Our book club theme of February is Black History Month; members have the choice of reading “The Good Lord Bird” by James McBride or “In the Upper Country” By Kai Thomas.
