About this Course

Path: Visual Arts - Comic Creation Level: Beginner - Intermediate Explore the fundamentals of comic book creation — from concept and character design to inking, lettering, and finishing. Each participant creates an original short comic or zine that reflects their imagination, culture, and voice. Program Goals: Build drawing and design skills confidence, learn creative writing and narrative thinking, develop an understanding of visual storytelling, and produce a printed or short comic. Please make note that if you have taken the previous Comic Book Illustration Lab program and wish to continue your project, you are welcome to join this class. Likewise if you are new to Comic Illustration you are also welcome to join this class.
